The delivery was on time and the price was competitive. I have yet to hear it wide open, as I am still building the rest of the system. 3" Stainless from the manifolds back. (chipped to rid the engine light) During some tests, airflow show to improve and releave backpressure slightly. I care more about the sound than the performance because I use my truck for the everyday grind, can't mod it too much. Thanks for great service.

I thought the Flowmaster would have been a little louder than it is, mbut i definetly still like it. I had heard that some Flowmasters can rob HP and take some MPG, but i haven't noticed anything like that. Of course i don't have a dyno or anything, but my truck does feel pepier. I very much so like recommend this muffler if your are looking fro something wiht a deep throaty rumble, the interior resonance is not bad at all.I put this muffler on my 98 Tacoma 2.7L. I was afraid it might give my truck that "rice burner" sound, and it didn't at all. My truck sounds the way a truck ought to and there is zero rice sound.

So after much research I purchased this muffler for my 4 cylinder'05 tacoma. This is known to be a more mild sounding exhaust muffler, so I expected something a little louder than stock. I could not be more wrong, this muffler is pretty loud. I've heard that the exhaust tone will change slightly after a month due to carbon build up, so I'm hoping this is the case. I've used flowmaster before, and they are an excellent exhaust system, I just didn't want my truck to be so loud. As always AutoAnything shipped my product super fast, and have kept me a happy customer.

This flowmaster opened up a little more hp and gave me that beautiful flowmaster sound at take off and on through the gears. The only down fall would be the "brown note" when just cruising at highway speeds in overdrive. If you are a daily driver of long distances you might want a little less cab noise. As far as install I kept the passenger side(stock) pipe and bent/fabricated a drivers pipe to match. It took me about 3 hours to bend, weld and hang.

I purchased this muffler recently and i love it. It was easy enough to install with a leangth of straight pipe to adapt to my old tailpipe and welding it all in. At first it was not as loud as i was expecting but after about a week breaking it in, it sounds great! I would recomend this to anyone who is looking to have their truck sound mean! The super 40 has that loud, deep, throaty sound that flowmaster claims. It makes my 03 Silverado 1500, 4.8L-V8 sound BA even though it is still a small-block. The drone inside the cab is not to bad except at about 50 to 55 when on the gas. No chance yet to do the math on weather or not it actually improves gas mileage but i have noticed a slight increase in power and torque.
