Description

Designed to be installed with minimum worry and deliver a necessary defense from the junk that dings up your fenders, the Custom Extend-a-Fender Flare is the direct answer to sheet metal protection. Big tires or small, if you just drove through the mud or down a gravel road that stuff will be hitting your paint next, and if not blasting into your truck it's likely the tire-fired projectiles will get the truck next to you. Beyond covering your paint, some municipalities require all large-by-wide tires be covered and these fender flares can keep you from a fix-it ticket.

When you put big bucks down on a truck you don't want to skimp on the fender flares. The fronts went on without any problem, existing holes in the truck had nut plates and the Bushwacker holes lined up perfectly. The back ones took a little more time. I decided to drill four holes in the lip of the each rear fender. The holes were touched up with paint & rust proofing, nylon hardware and three top existing plastic push pins completed the two day install.

I think they look great and I have gotten lots of positive comments, but I really do think they are highly overpriced

My purchase was very professional from the phone order and shipment.Salesperson gave me a match price with a competitor which he researched himself plus free shipping! The price for my Bushwacker extend a flare was unbeatable since my truck neded some touchup so I just let my autobody man install them after all he suggested Auto anything because of the reputation but was blown away when he found out what I paid!! .He regards Bushwacker products highly over any brand because of true fit. Well, I will be repainting my 2000 tundra now.Not because of rust but it will look new when done.Oh funny thing just changed spark plugs for 1st time with 197,680 miles.

There Bushwacker Extend-a-Fenders are the best, I was looking for something to give my truck that extra look, and to cover the large tires I bought, Bushwacker was what I was looking for, It took about 2 hours to install with the instructions that walk you through it step by step,I'm very happy with my purchase, Thanks Ben, Everett, Washington

They fit well and look good on my '05 F150 FX4. Now cover the 285 Terra Grapplers on custom wheels perfectly. I question whether they will be as secure as the factory flares, which were attached at about 10-12 points, compared with the Bushwackers 4-5 attachment points. They are a smooth finish, compared to the factory textured finish - this leands to the paintability I suppose but I like them black. If they don't fall off or turn chalky gray over time I will be happy.
