I wanted to change the look of my 2005 F150 XLT. Saw a few pics of the Bushwacker flares on other F150's and knew that's exactly what my truck needed. I couldn't be happier with the ease of install and especially how great they look. They also protect the sides of the truck much better than the mud flaps i had on.

Over all nice fender flares. I would have rated 5 stars except for the rubber seal that is mounted to the Extender-A-Fender and contacts the truck paint. The seals are rounded, and should have had a flat surface to butt against the truck paint. I had a paint protection film applied to the paint where the fenders contact the paint to keep the rubber seals from wearing through the paint. Even with a flat seal the paint wear would occur, but the wider contact surface would probably cause less wear.

They fit well and look good on my '05 F150 FX4. Now cover the 285 Terra Grapplers on custom wheels perfectly. I question whether they will be as secure as the factory flares, which were attached at about 10-12 points, compared with the Bushwackers 4-5 attachment points. They are a smooth finish, compared to the factory textured finish - this leands to the paintability I suppose but I like them black. If they don't fall off or turn chalky gray over time I will be happy.

The flares were very easy to install, and look awesome on my lifted F-150...I realized after putting 1st one on it tells you to put gasket on peeling back tape a foot at a time b/c it sticks closed and can get tougher to put on.....You can actually just put on w/o removing tape which is real easy and then pull off all at onnce and seal it tight.Great fit lotsa compliments.....Len,Ridley,Pa.!

Even though I didn't want to put them on...I had too due to wide tires throwing road mud up on side of truck. I had them painted to match truck. Installation was straight forward and easy. Did not run into any problems. Total time was approx. 21/2 hours start to finish. Was working in 97 degree heat. Overall very good product, fast shipping, exactly as advertised!

The installation was easy but the instructions could be better. They required no drilling. I agree with other reviewers in that they seem pricey for plastic or else I would have given a perfect score. Delivery was really fast also. They look great!
