Installation & Fit

Reviewed By Jeff B (MILTON, FL) Reviewed for a 2006 Chevy Silverado —2/22/2014 9:38 AM

These flares are super easy to install (less than 30 minutes for me), and have a great fit. I didn't even have to trim them after test fitting. I highly recommend them. I like that they have a smooth finish without bolt indentions like so many other wide fenders have. I wish the price was $75 less overall, but gas prices have increased shipping and productivity costs for everyone, so it is still a good value.

Lund Flares

The Lund flares I bought really gave a new look to a plain jane truck! I have to say I am pretty satisfied with them, the only complaint I have is that one doesnt sit even with the body line, its just a little off, but not terrible! Overall I like them alot very easy to install.

Custom to the bone

Reviewed By Charles J (Jacksonville, FL) Reviewed for a 2006 Chevy Silverado —6/9/2011 6:24 AM

I own a 2006 Chevy Silverado.I wanted fender trim that would accent without overpowering the stainless chrome door handles and Nerf Bars on my truck. It would also have to withstand the test of time. The jury is still out on that. This half fender trim was just right, not to wide or to thin. It blends in well, complimenting the custom look I wanted to achieve. I highly recommend it to those on the fence about whether to purchase it or not. The only drawback to it was the installation. I tried to install it without drilling holes with the supplied hardware. On the front fenders the attaching hooks wont go between the lip of the fender and the wheel well because it is welded together. The hooks show in the fender well and looks tacky. I drilled holes using supplied screws obtaining a much cleaner and professional look. Thanks TFP & AutoAnything.
