Bushwacker Fender Flares - Street Reviews

2012 F150 XLT

These were advertised as not requiring drilling, you do have to drill two holes thru plastic piece above front bumper. Instructions were not clear for installation of front set, so did rear set first. Then I could tell which hardware goes on front, by what was left over. They are not kidding when they say "Some filing, sanding, or cutting may be necessary to ensure proper fit"!!

Does the job it should, not the best fit I have ever seen

Installation was pretty easy though the directions leave you wanting more. The kit does require you to drill two holes into the frame on each side, something I wish I had known before I bought. They don't line up perfectly with the bottom of the fenders but they are pretty close. Overall I guess I am happy with the set as they do what they are supposed to however if I had the choice again I would probably go with the factor liners instead as they don't require any holes be added to the truck.

A nice addition to my lifted F150

Packaging was OK. These require assembly, I had my kids help. Install was straight forward but I did need to drill a few additional holes to get the flares to attach correctly. No big deal. I bought the textured set. They look sharp and give the truck a more aggressive look while protecting the truck from debris and spray. The thickness of the flares should make them a durable addition as well.
