Bushwacker OE flares for 2002 Ford F350

Reviewed By Rick L (Hadley, MA) Reviewed for a 2002 Ford F-350 —2/1/2012 10:31 AM

I bought these to hide the 2" chunks of wheel well edges that rotted away from New England winters salted roads. The truck was due for inspection and the bushwaker flares for $212 with free shipping was a bargian compared to bringing the truck to the body shop. I was told it would take about an hour to install them and I could probably do it an hour the next time. There were some tricks I figured out by the time I was done such as a small quick clamp and block of small block if wood inside the fender to pull the hole in the flare to line up with the screw hole on the mounting clip. Passed inspection with no problems and the truck looks good again.

2002 Ford F350: Bushwacker Street Flares

Reviewed By Seth L (Burlington, VT) Reviewed for a 2002 Ford F-350 —3/22/2008 2:57 AM

My stock '02 F350 is black and has slight surface rust on back bed/fenders directly around the wheelwell. I wanted to cover them up but still retain a sleek color matched look. Found the Bushwacker Street series fender flares - saw one other person's review at w/a black truck mention the fenders (which come black) were an exact match so I took a chance and ordered. had the best price I could find online by far and shipping arrived just as expected. Install took about 1hr by myself and consisted of: 1)unboxing, 2)installing the adhesive edging for top/inside edges to prevent paint rub, 3)pre-drilling screw hole divets in each fender and finally, 4) Screwing the flares up into the fenders. That's was it. Project came out better than expected! I couldn't find any other installation pics, so I added some here for all you F250/350 owners to see: Order 'em up - it's definitely worth it!
