Jeep upgrade

The Bushwackers look great however the install was not as easy as we thought. The original bolts were stripped inside their fastener so we had to cut them off with a grinding wheel. Fortunately we knew a guy that works in the fastener division for automotive and we were able to replace all of them. We had to borrow the special tool to install the fasteners. In the end it's a great facelift for our 99 Wrangler!!!

rugged ridge fender flares

These flares are very easy to apply. It's harder to remove the original flares. They fit perfectly. I have not put them through the rigors yet, but they appear to be made of quality material. The price was a factor. You can purchase another Brand name for almost double ,and they appear to be the same flare. We'll see . So far so good,Catfish

Great Fender Flares!

Reviewed By Eric S (Reseda, CA) Reviewed for a 2002 Jeep Wrangler —3/25/2016 9:33 AM

I am really happy with these fender flares. They are a combination of both flat style and pocket style. Installation was rather easy, the hardest part is removing the old flares. The rubber molding is a bit tricky but you can get the hang of it quickly. One downside is that they give you some very small washers to use that are barely bigger than the mounting holes on the flares. I went to Home Depot and purchased some 1 inch fender washers instead.
