"install- they're right, it takes close to 4 hours; hard part is taking the old flares off; reaching up inside to hold the nut while loosening the bolt is tough; rear is harder as you "should" take the plastic body-protectors off, but I didnt- was concerned that Id wreck the plastic bits that hold 'em on!
fit & finish- pretty nice. many people have noticed the difference in looks ("looks new!" - "looks like a different car!" etc) - and I've been watching to see how rugged they are. you can hear the rocks/road debris hitting the flares, which tells me they're blocking stuff from my windshield, which is good!
I would definitely buy these again, good price." —Josh D from Cambridge, MA bought a Rugged Ridge Off Road Fender Flares for a 2004 Jeep Wrangler.
"The fender flairs weren't to hard to install The hard part was getting the old flairs off." —Terry E from Albany, MO bought a Rugged Ridge Off Road Fender Flares for a 2004 Jeep Wrangler.
"The flares are nice and now cover my tires. The hardest part on the installation was taking the old flares off of my Jeep wrangler and putting the rubber seal around the new flares. They fit my jeep very well." —Ron A from Mohave Valley, AZ bought a Bushwacker Fender Flares - Pocket Style for a 2004 Jeep Wrangler.
"I like this product-the hardware is complete, and it even comes with an appropriate sized Torx Bit.
Getting the OEM fenders off the TJ is a little more work than it appears-the Daimler Chrysler boys definitely over-engineered that one.
I had no problems with the fit and finish of the Bushwacker, I didn't find any sharp edges.
Putting the rubber strip molding on is a pain in the butt and for $400+ it would be nice if that came already attached..." —Myles W from Tucson, AZ bought a Bushwacker Fender Flares - Pocket Style for a 2004 Jeep Wrangler.
"These flares are well worth thew money. They look great on my 2004 Wrangler!! I paid $30.00 for the install and it was worth it. The price of the flares was lower then another place that I do business with and AA. service is second to none. Easy ordering and very fast shipping!!
