I put these flares on my black 2007 Ford SuperDuty and I have to say they look great! They can be painted, but I think they're just fine as they are with my black paint. If and when they get "rough" I think a little smear of ArmourAll will fix them up. I first considered the stainless steel moldings, but did not want to call that much attention to the wheel wells. The front flares mounted in a couple minutes, but the rear took a bit longer. You should consider removing the rear wheels first. The rear fender is thick (double) and driving the drillbit-tipped screws through it took some grunting. All is well that ends well, and they fit perfectly all around the seal. Advertised tire coverage by the company is accurate at 3/4 of an inch. If there's anything bad at all to say about these Bushwackers, it's that the company (Bushwacker) does not provide one single extra inch of rubber seal or any extra fasteners. Sit down on the floor, measure everything twice, check for a good fit before installing, and get it right the first time, and you'll be smiling like I am! And you will not beat AutoAnything's price!
