"The Hexomat is just what I expected, a cut to fit mat that covered the back of the jeep including the fold down area. The mats holds its own against my to Boxers, the only down side as stated in previous reviews is the smell, what can you do."

"I got these mats to try and save my floors from getting trashed. I got them and they looked really cool, but they smell really bad. They smell like some harsh paint or something. I left them out of my car for a few days to let the odor attempt to decrease. Overall a good mat."

"I've only had the mats (front and back) for 2 weeks. They fit perfectly in my 2009 Murano and they handled two rainy days nicely so far. Any water from our shoes stayed on the mats. The mats don't have a lip surrounding it, so I hope the Hexomat holds the melting snow from this winter and doesn't run off. The smell that everyone seemed to talk about wasn't that bad. Three days of airing out on my deck did the trick. When I first took the mats out of the box, I thought $129 might have been a little steep, but in stores nothing looked as nice and sold for $60 and more. Rocky"

"It fit our Ford Escape cargo space like a glove and stays perfectly in place even with our big yellow lab bouncing around back there! Definitly worth the price."

"Overall pleased. Would like to have had hole provided to go over the passenger side anchor like on the driver's side. However, the things really STINK,as in smell. Left windows down for four days and still noticeable. Suggest you air them out outside of the car for several days before installing them. Directions said not to place them in direct sunlight."

"The material used for mats production seems to contain volatile plasticizers which are odorous. I had to air the mats for 6 days to get rid of the odor before I could install them in my vehicle. Otherwise, the odor was causing headaches."

"Very good quality, nice weight..durable yet easy to get in and out of car. Best thing I have bought for my SUV. I haul cases of meats, foods, misc cargo, even ice chests of fish from the auction. the hex design catches any drips or leaks, the carpet inside is protected very well, they clean off nicely with soap and water, does not absord odors. I like it so much I bought one for my friend's birhtday."

"Heavy weight material, should last forever. However it has been 2+ weeks and the "new" smell is still not gone. Hope it goes away soon. Otherwise this is a great product!"

"After searching for a cargo mat for my ML350 for several months I am finally found a mat that I am happy with. Prior to my purchase the mats that I found the were not of good quality. The hexomat price was good and the mat fit perfectly into my hatch. Now I don't have to worry about things spilling and damaging my beige carpet."

"99% custom fit in my Disco II. Not exactly perfect but as close as anyone has come. Definitely better than Auto Zone mats. Very thin relatively speaking; good quality material so shouldn't be issue. Doesn't accidentally catch your shoes like the monster thick mats from Auto Zone-good. Deep enough to catch most dirt and considerable amount of spilled liquids. Doesn't match interior color of car exactly but good enough. Better fit and function than any generic/non-custom fit mats but quite expensive."

Second Set of Hexomat for me

"I bought a set of these for my 2007 Toyota Tundra a few years ago and they have performed great. This set was for my 2002 Toyota Sequoia and just as before the set was cut to perfection except that the trunk mats didn't have cut outs for the third seat mounts. I've since seen this option on a competitors website but wasn't offered the option on Auto Anything. The color was a good match and as everyone else have commented the smell was strong and pungent. No worries though I know the smell won't last but a few weeks and that mats will last for years."

"These mats are made from heavy duty rubber. I've had the cargo mat for about 3 weeks now. It's currently airing out on the back deck of my house because my wife complained about the smell of rubber in the car(she said it smells like bad body odor). I'm hoping that this airing out will do the trick as I like the mat. It has hexagonal holes to trap moisture and unlike other mats does not have a large lip that would interfere with accessories in my RAV 4. If the smell doesn't fade, I'm going to have to return it."

"Once I opened the box, I let the mats air outside for a few days which helped eliminate the fresh rubbery smell. The mats are easy to install and have a nice custom fit. Highly Recommended."

"The Hexomat Floor Mat we bought for the trunk of our 2009 Hyundai Sonata does what we wanted it to do. However the mat has a rather offensive smell. Hopefully this odor will disapate over time. We took it out of the car and left it outside for about 30 hours. This may have helped some but there is still some odor. I certainly would not buy these mats for use inside the car. The odor from the mats would overpower the pleasant new car smell."

"It is good rubber mat, but smell of the mat is pretty bad. I left it for about 10 days in my garage to get rid of smell and it was almost gone. But it still have some scent which makes headach. It is almost fit, not perfectly. But if you are looking for decent rubber mat, this is the one. the pattern is same as OEM mat."

"It has a very good fit I have a sub under the rear seat and the matts have full coverage under the rear seat (custom Fit). After one week they still smell it's not really bad. My wife wants a set for her car."

"We previously had Hexomat floor mats in our 2006 SRX and decided to get a matching cargo area mat. Like the floor mats, the cargo mat fit perfectly. We like the ability of the mats to hold water and snow and how they generally protect the carpet. At $94 the price was a bit salty for a fairly simple piece . . . but it is good quality and I expect it to last as long as we have the car."

"It's been a week and the smell has begun to subside, and we can again smell the new car smell. The fit of the mats is better than the factory rug-type floor mats. I gave a good for the overall rating because of the pungent odor without the odor they would have received an excellent. I was made aware of the odor from previous reviews otherwise I would have returned them."

"The picture shown is not how they looked in my truck for the driver side floor mat, driver side is lacking, floor mat fits but does not cover enough. The rear mat covers the length of the row in one piece. I believe it will conform after a few days in the hot sun but it currently doesn't conform over the hump in the back. Very easy to install, and if the driver side would cover more I would have given them excellent for the ease of fit, look, and price."

"The mats fit my Dakota fine and there are no problems with curling or shifting around. However, they are not as thick as I had hoped and are unfinished around the edges. They should still work better than tray-type mats in the winter at holding the water in place and not letting is slosh around."
