"I just replaced the clear floor mats that I purchased it a year ago. They turned yellow and brittle. I had the hexomat in my hatchback compartment and it has faired well. I decided to get the black hexomat up front. I opted not to go with gray but to match the trim. I am very pleased with my purchase. No noticeable odor."

"I cant believe how well crafted these mats are. The cut of the mats is a perfect fit for my Xterra. The mats diddnt have the odor I was reading about in other reviews and the installation was a snap! The driver side mat stays put even with all the abuse it takes. Great buy and great price! thanks!"

"I love my new mats EXCEPT they smell awful! I have kept the windows open on my CR-V when its in the garage. the smell is getting weaker. but I would recommend them anyway. they dont slip & bunch up when you are driving or getting in/out of the car like some other mats I had in the past."

"Received order on a timely basis. The mats fit the way they should and have a heavy high quality feel. One past comment I read noted a smell. Yes, there is "new" smell that disapates with time but I did not find it at all objectionable."

"Front mats. On the driver's & passenger's sides the position of the punch outs was wrong. Why were they there? Water can get through! Rear mats, no punch outs! I would have expected the driver's side mat to reach farther under the pedals. The color "tan" was much closer to brown"

"Fits perfectly except the driver mat. There is a slight raised area in my 2003 seville but it i easy to work around. They smell pretty strongly of frehly processed rubber/plastic. I sat them in garage for a few days then washed them with soap and water. then a few days later i washed with a degreaser spray and again the next day and they still smell but a lot less. 2 weeks later there is still a bit of smell but it is going away and is not that bad. over all they are great"

"The product is as expected quality wise for the most part, but there are a couple of aspects that can be improved. The one item I was not aware of when purchasing was the two-piece nature of the mats when covering the rear cargo area and the seat backs. It is not necessarily a bad thing since it provides some flexibility, but it also requires you to be careful when loading so it doesn't move around. The other item is access to the cargo tie-downs. I had to cut slits in the mat to access them so I could secure cargo, once again not a big deal but they are not setup to provide access. Overall the product will do the job."

"These are my second set of Hexomats. They work great in keeping my vehicle carpets clean. They're easy to maintain and look great.
My only problem with them is the initial strong and overwhelming rubber smell. The smell is overpowering in a closed vehicle. I overcome this problem by airing the Hexomats out in my back yard for two weeks before installing them in the vehicle."

"We have these & the Llyods. Haven't had to try them out in snow yet, but they look great. I would settle for the Llyods if you live in a milder climate as they are cheaper, but these are tough!"

"1. Should be advice on reducing new odor; leave exposed in air for ?x# days
2. should be advice re leaving in or removing "original equipment carpets"

"2nd try and mat still not right. 2008 Odyssey. Wanted mat to extend t'gate to back of 2nd seats. Short about 22". Works but doesn't protect entire cargo area behind seats. No way on web site to tell you what I wanted. That's why I reordered and returned 1st order. Lady I talked with evidently misunderstood me."

"Front mats fit fine, but the one piece rear and cargo mats did not fit as well as expected. The cargo mat was too long front to back, and had to be trimmed, but portions of the sides were cut too much. The one piece rear mat will also need to be trimmed so that the mat lays flatter over the hump."

"These mats are excellent. They are form fitting to the Rav4. There's no ends bent up that you get with generic mats.
The only downside is the material smells bad for about a week. There's nothing that can be done about it, but after that, they're great."
