"the oder is oppressive coming from the plastic/rubber car mats. I had to take them out of the car. they have been hanging in the garage hoping the oder will eventually dissipate so i can use them"

"I am pleased so far with the quality of the Hexomat rear floor mat that I purchased for my 2004 Dodge Pick-up. However, it was not a perfect fit behind the driver's seat and required some trimming to make it fit correctly."

"The material seems to be very sturdy. The nibs on the bottom do not grip the carpeting very well. This is probably due to type of carpeting (not much pile, more felt-like). I would by Hexomats again."

"Overall, the other reviews are fairly accurate. The mats do have an odor for the first 1-2 weeks (smells a bit like skunk) but fades over time and I no longer notice it. Also, my driver's side mat needed to be trimmed a bit in one area to fit better (not a problem, trimming is easier than making them grow) and the passenger side mat was just a bit small and could have fit better if slightly wider. Overall, a good value rubber mat. The tan was a nice match for my interior."

"Initially the mats had a very strong odor from the manufacturing process, but after letting them air out in the garage for a few days, they were placed in the Focus (front only) and they fit perfectly. We have not had much snow to evaluate them, but they look like they can hold a good amount of water. Everyone in the family likes the stylish look which is quite different from anything else on he market."

"I bought the clear mats. They fit well and do collect water. They have a plastic odor out of the box but they lose it after a week or so. They come in ridiculous boxes which are twice as long as the mats, but so be it."

Smelly

"I have not yet went through a winter and while the mats seem to be good quality they have a kind of nasty smell to them. It's been a month since I have installed them and the smell has subsided some but it is still there. Sehsitive sniffers beware! otherwise I kinda like them the cut and fit for my altima was perfect, and the rubber is very dense."

"THESE ARE SUPOSE TO BE CUSTOM MATS. THESE MATS ARE CUT UGLY AND MAKES MY NAVIGATOR LOOK REALLY UGLY I WOULD NOT BY THEM AGAIN. AND MAYBE NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM AUTO ANYTHING.IF THERE WAS A LOWER STAR I WOULD USE IT."

"We recently purchased a new 2006 Hyundai Tucson and were informed by our dealership that winter floor mats were no longer available through the company. Living in Wisconsin makes winter mats a necessity not an option! I came upon your website and ordered the mats in the tan despite the bad reviews about the smell. When they arrived, we opened the box, took out the mats and left them in our garage for 3 days. Winter descended and we needed to install them no matter what they smelled like. Guess what? No smell, no problem. They fit perfectly! They look great and after a major blizzard and the after-effects, they work!!!! Thank You! Thank You!"

"Got my Hexomat mats for my 2006 toyota sienna for 2 weeks already. I don't find the rubber odor to be that bad as some people claimed. Mats fit the mini-van perfectly, beigh interior with tan floor mat. They are excellent in value. I just wish it came with 3rd row flooring too."

"The Hexomat Floor mats for my 2006 Hyundai Azera are perfect for protection of the plush carpet. They also have a really nice appearance and complement the interior. I have let the mats air out and the odor is negligible. Really not an issue. I now intend purchasing a set for my 2006 Hyundai Sonata. Good product and warranty."

"These mats work better than some of the more expensive all weather mats as the water is held in each hexagonal pocket and doesn't "pool" and overflow at the lowest point. They don't look as "gnarly" as some of the heavy duty mats, but they do the job extremely well. I live in a very snowy, muddy, ski resort town, so they are put to the test every day. The also lie nice and flat, look good, and fit perfectly."

"I recently bought 2 sets of Hexomat floor mats for our cars. While the weather has remained decent, with little rain and no snow, I am satisfied with there appearance. The only negative to either set is the smell of the rubber. I don't like it, and look forward to the strength dissipating."
