"Once I opened the box, I let the mats air outside for a few days which helped eliminate the fresh rubbery smell. The mats are easy to install and have a nice custom fit. Highly Recommended."

Offensive Odor

"The Hexomat Floor Mat we bought for the trunk of our 2009 Hyundai Sonata does what we wanted it to do. However the mat has a rather offensive smell. Hopefully this odor will disapate over time. We took it out of the car and left it outside for about 30 hours. This may have helped some but there is still some odor. I certainly would not buy these mats for use inside the car. The odor from the mats would overpower the pleasant new car smell."

"Mats look great and the fit is almost perfect. I've had the mats for 2 weeks and the only negative is that they still smell like rubber. The smell is very strong."

Good rubber mat

"It is good rubber mat, but smell of the mat is pretty bad. I left it for about 10 days in my garage to get rid of smell and it was almost gone. But it still have some scent which makes headach. It is almost fit, not perfectly. But if you are looking for decent rubber mat, this is the one. the pattern is same as OEM mat."

"It has a very good fit I have a sub under the rear seat and the matts have full coverage under the rear seat (custom Fit). After one week they still smell it's not really bad. My wife wants a set for her car."

"We previously had Hexomat floor mats in our 2006 SRX and decided to get a matching cargo area mat. Like the floor mats, the cargo mat fit perfectly. We like the ability of the mats to hold water and snow and how they generally protect the carpet. At $94 the price was a bit salty for a fairly simple piece . . . but it is good quality and I expect it to last as long as we have the car."

Great fit - Big Stink

"It's been a week and the smell has begun to subside, and we can again smell the new car smell. The fit of the mats is better than the factory rug-type floor mats. I gave a good for the overall rating because of the pungent odor without the odor they would have received an excellent. I was made aware of the odor from previous reviews otherwise I would have returned them."

"The picture shown is not how they looked in my truck for the driver side floor mat, driver side is lacking, floor mat fits but does not cover enough. The rear mat covers the length of the row in one piece. I believe it will conform after a few days in the hot sun but it currently doesn't conform over the hump in the back. Very easy to install, and if the driver side would cover more I would have given them excellent for the ease of fit, look, and price."

"The mats fit my Dakota fine and there are no problems with curling or shifting around. However, they are not as thick as I had hoped and are unfinished around the edges. They should still work better than tray-type mats in the winter at holding the water in place and not letting is slosh around."

"I like these mats. Made of heavy duty material but easily installed. They due what they say they wil due, hex pattern easily catches and contains. The only neg I could have is that the cut on the mats could be a little larger for better coverage at the edges. Overall I am happy with this product."

"Hexomat Floor Mats were quick and easy to install on my 08 Honda Fit. Autoanything was very easy to navigate and I used the customer reviews to find pretty much what I wanted. Mats were delivered quickly and fit very well. Only one bad point is they smell really bad at first, but I've left the car windows open in the garage and it's airing out."

"This is a great looking product and it fits perfectly in my car. The deep grooves will definitely catch all the mud and melted snow this winter. The only down side is the strong skunk like rubber smell that has taken forever to dissipate."

"I liked the overall quality of the mat, but I believe they are little too expensive because of the obvious ease on how they are made. (Just stamped out on a machine!) Except for the strong odor which goes through-out the car, it looks as if it will give excellent protection for the trunk rug."

"The color matches very good. The second row mat fits like it should, also the passenger side. The driver's side, I am not sure it was made correctly. There is an opening on the left side and the mat does not cover like the passenger side. Otherwise, they where easy to install."

"I had previously purchased a rear trunk mat for my 2000 Porsche Boxster. The original fiber rear trunk mat in our 97 Altima had gotten wet at some point, and had some "mildew issues." The incentive for me to order was the free shipping. It came in a week or so. I removed the original mat and the Hexomat "dropped in" to place. Looks great - no more mildew odor!"

"We live in a rural part of New York state and work outdoors. You can bet that we drag a lot of the outdoors into our new VW GTI. This is Not Good. So we hunted for the best floor mat package we could dig up and found Hexomat at AutoAnything. Excellent! Problem solved! We slipped in the front mats + cargo mat and never looked back. Each piece fits perfectly and is super heavy duty. The design of Hexomat traps all the crud and then we just hose it off. Result: spiffy clean GTI for those times when we want to show off our hot hatch. Good Job Hexomat and Thanks AutoAnything. JL & CL, Montgomery, NY"

"Bought this to keep the car cleaner when transporting our Lab. You won't find an easier clean up than this. Pull it out, hose it off, replace. For those concerned about smell, don't worry. I left the rear door up overnight the day of installation and most of the smell was gone by morning."
