"The Good: My car is not a popular model, Mercedes R350, and few manufacturers (Hexomat is the only one I found) offer a cargo mat to for this model. The product is attractive and the fit is good.
The Bad: I had read other reviews before ordering and several had alluded to the smell of the Hexomat. Well, they were right--it's pretty overpowering. I immediately opened the box, put the mat in and after about three days took it out to "air out." Placed it in my garage about two weeks ago, smelled it this morning and it seems to be "curing" well. Probably put it back in this week. Hexomat needs to deal with this problem on their end, not make the customer deal with the smell."

"These mats were rather expensive and I was a bit disappointed that they were not heavier rubber when they arrived ... but they provide great coverage in my truck and are cut very well. Overall I am quite satisfied."

"These are wonderful - just what I wanted except for one thing.
First, what is good about them: 1) they fit perfectly, 2) they were super easy to install, 3) I bought them for my dogs which I cart around in the back of my Toyota Matrix - the backs of the back seats are folded down. The dogs were slipping and sliding on the smooth surface but the mats give them good traction and I can tell they are more comfortable riding around on them. They also protect the surface from toenails and crud won't fall between the crack between the seat backs when they are folded down.
The one thing I don't like is that the mats come in 2 separate parts (you can buy them separately) - one for the cargo area and one that covers the back of the folded down seats. The one that covers the cargo area is perfectly cut to fit in the contours of the space and it stays put. The mat that covers the seat backs slides around. I would have preferred a 3rd mat choice that covered the whole area instead of one for the cargo area and one for the seat backs. I plan to glue velcro strips on the car and the mat - sub-optimal cure but I don't have any other ideas. It sort of defeats the purpose of getting them in the first place if they don't stay put and give the dogs some stability.
The people who make these might want to think about a 3rd choice for the mats. Otherwise, I am very happy with them. Also, AutoAnything people were great - very nice and helpful. I will definitely order from them again."

"These floors mats were bought for my mom. She was so excited that she went out Christmas morning and put them in her car. She then stated "that was all she wanted for Christmas!"

"These are nice. Yes, they need to be aired out for a few days before installation, but that's the same for any good, rubber mats. But they are clearly not truely tailor made for any particular car - they are just cut from a big hexomat sheet with a template that fits the car, therefore, the edges are rough rather than finished. Otherwise, I'm pleased."

"Man o man, people were not kidding when they said these mats reek! I have had them in the garage for a couple of weeks and they still smell. In all fairness I think the odor is from a curing product/by-product and in Chicago my garage has been freezing. I have washed the mats in hot soapy water and brought them in to a warmer place and the odor is starting to fade a little faster.
As far as the fit, they are right on the money. I have a 2001 Audi S4 and the black mats go well with the dark blue interior. I can't wait to actually be able to leave them in the car without offending any passengers. One review said three weeks, about right, maybe a little more."

"I've been looking all over the place for this floor mat for the nissan we own and couldn't find it anywhere, when I saw this place I was hesitant but when I received it I wasn't dissapointed one bit. The item was great, it fit perfect into every corner. I didn't get water on it yet but I know it'll stand up to it just by the material it's made of. This is a great company and would definitely shop with autoanything again."

"I've only had the mats for a week. They seem to fit perfectly. The holes are deeper than I expected, so I'm not certain how it will affect driving in heels. The mats have a strong odor that still bothers me when I'm in my car."

"I like how they really trap the snow and slush. BUT they do stink as everyone says. I have a 2009 Vibe and the cut for the driver's side was a bit short under the gas pedal so I'm watching it for possible leakage. So far, they are doing the best job of any other mat I've tried."

"I like the Hexomat trunk cover for my Matrix. The pattern and quality of the material was good. The fit was almost perfect. Unfortunately, there was a large extension that did not fit, and must have been cut wrong. After I trimmed it myself, the fit was perfect."

"Good quality!! Color could be a little more match with honda factory color. It is a tight fit since it is cut a little largeer in size for the CRV. But quick trim with cissors around cetner console are (around 1/4 in), it fits perfectly."

"The two things I did not like were the mats did not have a finished edge and the smell. The mats were cut out of a roll and would look better if the had a fininshed, flat edge around them, not just a cut edge. The smell of the material used in the mats are very strong. I have had them for two weeks and the smell is still very strong in my car. I have been leaving the windows down to try to help. On the other hand, the material used is of good quality and the contour of the holes trap dirt and liquid very well."

"These mats were pretty easy to install in my car, but there were a couple of spots on the driver's side where I had to wedge it under trim pieces, the clutch pedal, etc. Also, there is no hole for the post that keeps the factory mat from moving farther up under the pedals. The mat fits tightly enough that it hasn't been able to move around so far, so it's only a minor gripe. The mats look great and I am not even a little worried that I will get the carpet underneath wet or dirty. These mats are far better in quality than the OEM winter mats my wife got for her '08 Mazda."
