"Iwas thinking that they would have a smooth surface and that I could wipe them clean, but with the texture they are you have to remove them. I'm still thankful that they protect the carpet."

"The rear floor mat fits my Avalon well and provides good coverage of the rear seat's floor area. I experienced no odor problem, but aired the mat in a ventillated garage for several days before installation based upon reading reviews of floor mats (not necessarily hexomat). Have not yet confirmed how they handle slush."

"Fast prompt delivery. Laid out floor mats in my shed for over a week to help air out them. Slight odor still when I installed them but bearable. Mats fit like a glove. No trimming at all. It's a work truck, cleaned the drivers mat twice, still look like new. Excellent."

"These mats fit great. Just the right size for my Odyssey. I hope that they will do the job of protecting the carpet from any spills and such, as there is no rimmed edge, only the diamond pattern."

"I'm a chef and an avid outdoorsman which means I could be tracking in chunks of duck confit one day and mud/grass the next. I bought the front, middle, and cargo mats and am thoroughly pleased with the strength and fit of this product. While the smell is quite strong at first, it quickly faded away. I would highly recommend these mats. Eat out, eat local."

"there is a very strong chemical odor from the mats. I have left them in my outbuilding for a couple of weeks hopeing it will go away. The mats look good and I hope I will be able to put them in my truck before the weather gets bad."

"After receiving my mats I installed them right away & was very pleased with how well they fit & ease of installation They catch dirt very well!! The only thing that is annoying is the chemical smell coming from the mats. Everyone getting into my vehicle makes a comment that it smells like a skunk got loose in the car. I've washed the mats repeatly & tried using freshners, but this has not worked. I'm very happy with the mats, can you make any suggestions?"

"Yes, the Hexomat Floor Mats do smell pretty bad when you get them, but I've purchased another brand in the past and had the same problem. Once they air out for a week or so, they're fine. These mats fit my car perfectly and add a nice finishing touch to the interior, while protecting it at the same time. They are a little pricey, but I figure they will last as long as I have the vehicle. I really like them."

"I ordered the large rear cargo mat. It fits great and appears to be made of pretty durable material. Just a side note: the mat does not extend up to the back of the 2nd row seats. It stops at the factory mat for the 3rd row (about 12 inches short of the 2nd row seats)."

"I am totally happy with the cargo mat. It fits perfectly and the color is very close to the interior carpet. The only negative is a fairly strong rubber odor when first unpacked. I was told this was normal and would go away. I washed the mat with soap and water and let it dry. I then sprayed it with Febreze and again let it dry. After a few days all the smell was gone. I am very happy with the mat, and would recommend to anyone looking for a cargo mat to catch minor spills, dirt, etc."

"I ordered two separate mats for the front and a single mat for the rear of my 2007 Dodge 3500 Quad Cab. While the front mats fit ok, they don't cover nearly as much area as I thought they were going to. And in the back....goodness...I had to cut loads of mat from the center hump area and trim the edges on both door areas in order to get them to fit. Who measures these things? Don't let him try to build a house.... Oh yeah, they do stink at first, but it goes away in a week or so. The material/pattern does look like it will work well to keep my carpets as new as possible, but for the money I spent, I'd expect to have mats that fit properly, covered more area in the front. I don't expect to spend >$100 for mats that I have to cut 10% off of in order to fit my vehicle."

Works great, smells of skunk

"We got our hexomat cargo mat for our 1985 Toyota Supra, and it fits perfectly in the trunk space. We got it becasue we just got a new puppy, and she seems to throw up when we go driving in the car. My husband, whose car it is (that he's had since '85) wasn't too thrilled with this and thought the mat would help protect the interior and maybe help our puppy feel more stable. It seems to have worked. She hasn't been sick since we put it in, and she doesn't slide around on it, having lots of hexagontal traction. The only downside is that it really stinks. I means smells, like a skunk. I washed it, but the smell didn't go away. We are hoping it airs out. But was it perhaps - sprayed - by a skunk while sitting in the warehouse? We are wondering if all the hexomats smell like this, or was there a skunk involved? Otherwise, it is fantastic!"

"I had a heck of a time finding all weather mats that fit the 300D early 80's series mercedes. These fit perfect. i only wish that they had a nice raised ridge around the perimeter like the weathertech but they'll do."

"Heavy gage rubber and very durable. I purchased rear Honda 06 Pilot. Gray color is very dark. I wish they offered a lighter gray color. Expensive for the size but I'm sure will last a long time."

"This is the second set of Hexomat floor mats I buy. The first set was for my 2005 town&country minivan, a little discoloration (gray mats) due to heavy usage. But still intacted and looking good. The second set was for my 2008 Hyundai accent, black in color. The mats look great and fit like a glove."

"Front fit is perfect. Back fit is good but the cut aways for the sliding seats is wrong, they do not match up with the seat. Vinal smell is overpoweringly bad. We have to park in the garage with the windows down to vent the smell."
