These mats cover the full front and back carpets (including the humps) and contain dirt, mud and liquid very well. Thick, high quality rubber, fit is just about perfect, it took a couple of days after insstallation to settle in.

Reading some reviews about the smells in the mats almost made me not purchase them but then I decided to just try them for myself and discovered that there was a minor smell that went away quickly according to my wife I myself never smelled anything. Great product and we are very satisfied.

The floor mats are cut a little smaller than what is needed about 1/2 inch or so. I had the Husky mats in my old Expedition and they were more to size. The Hexomats do seem to catch the dirt in the little hexogons, the true test will come in the winter with the snow, but so far I am satisfied with them. They stay put and aren't as slick to step on when wet as the Husky mats were. I didn't notice any lingering smell from them as other reviewers had mentioned - I left them laying out flat about an hour before installing them.

The drivers side required some additional minor cutting to fit around the trunk release on our 2012 Honda Civic. Once installed, these are our favorite mats since the color matches the interior of the car, and they look like original equipment. Well worth 10 minutes of adjusting with heavy scissors.

I liked the look of these mats, and really wanted them, but was hesitant because of all the complaints about the smell. I took the plunge and got them anyway, figured I could do something if it was bad. I'm glad I did. Yes there was a strong odor at first, not horrible, but very strong. I left the windows cracked for a few days (made the mistake of not leaving the windows open the first night!). Also put a box of baking soda in the car. No odor to mention after a week, and nothing after 2 weeks.
