"The mats are too thin. I believe with high heels these mats will eventually crack. I ordered a set from a company called exactmats and they are much thicker and no scratches after 3 yrs. They are cut a little bigger also so covers the sides."

"The Lloyd Invisible Floor Mats did not come with the floor clip retention holes (two per mat for the front seats) causing me to have to improvise -- by making the holes myself. This did not turn out as well as was expected, so I purchased hole punching tools used for leather work to make the holes more symetrical. The mats should have come with the holes from the factory."

"The overall construction of the mats are very good, but they do stink very badly. We had to hang the mats outdoors, on the back deck, for several days, to get some the smell out. The vehicle specific cut of the floor mats, have a little to be disired. I think the cut could have been more precise, and could have covered more of the general area of the floor carpet, than they do."

"The initial odor was overwhelming. Wife with asthma could not tolerate it in the car. Set the mats out in enclosed garge for a week and was able to place back in car. Very happy with mats. Good quality and apperance. Would reccommend."

"Great mats, work very well. Trap lots of dirt, but still let the original mats show through. Manufacturer needs to do something about the smell though. I couldn't put them in the car for almost 2 weeks as I had to let them air out and get rid of the acrid smell. Way overpowers the new car smell. Review would have been all excellents except for the odor which downgraded it."

"My rating of average was due to the following: Mats are not invisible compared with a similar mat provided by the Lexus dealership for an ES350. The mats provided by Lexus let the color of the carpet come through extremely well. The Lexus logo came through clearly. I purchased the Lloyd mats for a similar look on a BMW X5 with the same color tan interior as the Lexus. They do not compare. Additionally, the cut of the mats for the 2008 BMW X5 are not quite right for the drivers side front. The carpet mat for the X5 is larger than the Lloyd mat. The cut of the mats look as though it was done with a sharp knife as opposed to a smooth cut. The mats overall are ok, but not compared with what I was expecting for the price."
