I've used these liners for years in vehices I've bought either new or used. You may not realize it when the car is new, but when you take out the liners to sell the car, the carpet under them still looks as good as it did off the assembly line. This helps the resale value, especially if it's private, because the buyer sees how well you've cared for the car. I figure that what I spend up front gives me at least that back at the time of sale, not to mention a few years worth of easy clean up in between.
