paid for custom fit floor mats, got something generic

Reviewed By paul j (moab, UT) Reviewed for a 1994 Honda Del Sol —4/16/2011 10:07 AM

there is a floor rest on the left side that would provide an excellent stop for the mat creeping forward (drivers side) but the mat is cut out there and I suspect for some other vehicle. The nubbins on the bottom to prevent creep are in the area next to the seat and do not prevent the drivers mat from creeping forward. they would be better served to be placed all over the mat or at least under where your feet set. The drivers mat creeps forward and climbs up to where it gets over the pedal and I have to keep pulling it back. Very poorly engineered for a $70 pair of mats.

I mats are well designed and look really great. The only negative is that the back mats did not fit exactly..the cut was a little off but do provide enough coverage.

Great Buy

My used car didn't have mats. On a college budget, I bought the cheapest ones I could buy and put up with them sliding around for nearly six years. I finally invested in these Lloyd RubberTite mats and am very pleased with my purchase. The mats fit excellently and do not move around. Only downside so far is a slight skunky odor from the fresh rubber, but it's slowly going away and I don't expect it to be a problem.
