Beware the VELCRO!!!

Reviewed By Dwain R (STANFIELD, NC) Reviewed for a 2012 Honda Insight —8/7/2012 8:38 AM

Quality is good...price is high...installation was fairly simple BUT...the velcro "HOOK" portion was not protected sufficiently to avoid SNAGGING the seat as I pushed the tab through for the seatback cover and it severly PICKED the fabric on the neoprene seat. The seat cover portion on the driver's seat was damaged before I could sit on it the first time...it did take away from the experience since it is NOT REPAIRABLE. A REPLACEMENT would be nice...and A WARNING about this problem should have been included with the product to avoid this potential damage along with a BETTER strip to cover the velcro "HOOK" strip portion of the fastener.

Really Nice Winter Mats

Reviewed By Richard B (Shorewood, WI) Reviewed for a 2003 Honda Insight —12/19/2017 6:02 PM

The previous owner of my 2003 Honda Insight put it on blocks every winter so it did not come with winter mats. Similar story for the 2002 Mazda Millenia I purchased in 2015. For the Millenia I bought less expensive Lloyd Rubber Tite mats. I clearly remember the Rubber Tite having a strong new tire smell the entire first winter. The Northridge do not smell. The Honda price difference was small and I preferred the weave pattern of the Northridge. No smell makes them well worth the higher price.
