Not too weashboard-looking
The surface has a textured look and can catch spills without having too waffled or washboard surface. It's a bit more finished looking than some mats. The anchor for the driver side fits the built-in hook, and an attempy was made to include an anchor for the passenger side, but it's a screw-type that doesn't have much grab. I suggest the mfr conjure up a device more like a wall molly that penetrates the rug pile but then pulls it tight to the mat as it is tightened.
Unfortunately I'm really disappointed in these car mats. First, they are not as pictured online. They refuse to stay in place and actually I think they are more dangerous than my old floor mat with the torn grommets, which are supposed to keep them in place. I always write very positive reviews, but in this case I just can't do so in good conscience. I will be returning these and ordering different ones. The others are more expensive, but in this case, you definitely get what you pay for.
