Outstanding fit, however tan = light brown
After many years of buying Husky liners and being less than pleased with my last set of Huskys I decided to finally try the WeatherTech liners. The last Huskys I bought for our Chevrolet Tahoe had a somewhat sloppy fit and the liners slid around and would not stay in place. I bought these WeatherTech liners for an Infiniti QX80 and the fit could not be more precise. Also, a major difference between the Husky brand and these WeatherTechs is that these actually take advantage of the grommet system the manufacturer uses to "lock" the factory floor mats in place - and they cannot move around. The Huskys I had were molded to fit over the grommet system and the mats just slipped all around, especially on the driver's side. One thing to note, however, is that although described as "tan", the liners I received are pretty much a light brown. So, they are darker than I expected, but the fit and quality are so good I didn't consider returning them.
More "plastic" than expected
I bought Husky liners for my son's truck, and they were great. So I bought them for my Infinity. My son's were a very heavy duty rubber material. Mine showed up, and they were thinner and plastic. Quite disappointed. I realize that these were two different products, but mine weren't any cheaper, and I bought the top of the line (also they were the only ones made to fit my car. Quite disappointed.
2014 QX80 Perfection
I purchased mats for the front, second and third row, and the rear cargo. Choosing clear in color. I was skeptical in such as I have had clear mats from others yellow over time. These mats do smell strong upon arrival. They are larger than the original mats (good thing). They are cut to perfection for fit. I was reluctant of which color to purchase as our interior is almost white. I like the mats yet could offer a piece of advice by offering samples of the product to match the interior.
