I know that the mat came with the hole in it but it did not fit the post in the carpet.I had to take the gromet off the oem mat and take the other one off and cut the carpet to make it fit ,it now snaps it place.

Have been looking for years to replace the front "carpeted" floor mats for my 2002 Eddie Bauer Explorer. Ford doesn't stock them anymore and if they did the price would be more than three times the price I paid for these. They are not the same size or shape as the OEM mats, however they fit much better, are the exact color I was seeking to match the rest of the interior, and they are far more secure than the originals in that they stay in place. Autoanything's customer service rep. was great.

Love the look, but the holes in the mats don't match up with the pegs from the floor. I was able to "snap in" the one nearest the door with a slam from the heel of my shoe. The second hole was too far off to attach, besides, the holes in the mat seem too small for the pegs. But hey, I'm a guy, so I'm making do.
