The directions have you install one side then the other then the ramp section last. I did that with the first mat and ha a struggle with fit. For the second mat I installed the first side rail at either side of the street end and then I installed the ramp. Then I installed the side pieces alternating two pieces on one side the then two on the other. When I got to the top the mat was much smoother and the installation of the top pieces very easy (as compared to doing he ramp last).

To flatten the cover, I stretched the 4 corners using large paper clamps and bungee straps. Because it's winter and cold, I heated the garage to 65 deg F for 2 days and the mat got completely flat with no creases.

I was thinking it was some kinda of mat that would roll out and bam you are done. No it is just heavy plastic, thicker than a trash bag, do not turn your wheels on it. didn't know i was going to have to trim it down to fit, they should do that before it ships. Not what I thought I was getting...

Hi, It should work fine. Make sure to seal the edges as there will be gaps in between that could trap moisture.

Will the heavy duty ParkSmart hold up in freezing temps. We do get some -20 temps, and with that areas near garage door can freeze. Will the vinyl crack or break when driven on in these temps?

Hi Mark, you should be fine. My future father in law has one of these and they live in Syracuse New York, Middle of the snow belt. I guess I'd have to see the area near your garage door to absolutely know what it looks like, but he has had it for years with no crackage.
