"The quality of the parking mat is excellent and it performs even better trhan I expected in holding the snow/rain that drips off of my car. I reeived my mat five days after ordering it and AutoAnything was excellent to deal with."

"This is the 3rd Park Smart mat I've purchased. I purchased one last year (black mat with red plastic pieces). These next two I recently purchased were the grey mats, all three were the heavy duty version. My only complaint so far is with the first mat purchases last year. I removed some of the end and side pieces so I could roll it up and put it away for the summer. Big mistake. The plastic pieces were not robust or flexible enough to take the removal and reinstall process. The newer grey pieces seem to be much more flexible and hopefully I will be able to remove and reinstall thems this next year. I will also try to put it back together after laying it out in the hot sun. This should make everything more flexible. In the meantime, I need to try and find some replacement pieces for my black mat."

"I was going to rate this at a later time (I just got the thing and installed it a few days agoe). But since Autoanything sent me an email already I will give a brief review. So far it looks nice and it has collected the rain water off of my vehicle quite well. I'm waiting for winter and snow for the real test. I was stumped that I was required to cut the side pieces to make it fit.....I sawed off about 1 inch. seems like they could have just made pieces that were the right length."

"I bought the special edition mat after my first mat incurred holes and thus leaks from small rocks that were carried in by my tires with snow and slush. It appears thick enough that it might last for more than a year without getting holes."

"This is my second Park Smart Clean Park. My first one was the regular version, and worked very well for 3 years, but eventually wore through in a couple of spots. I'm hoping this thicker version will solve that issue. So far, I really like the Special Edition. The only minor concerns/complaints I have are that first, you have to trim a little off the length (no big deal, but why?). Second, I also wish that the Special Edition came in a 9-foot width like the regular one. I have to be more careful that I get my full-size pickup lined up just right or else snow, ice and slush might fall outside the edge of it. Overall, I highly recommend this product in spite of these minor concerns."

The Right Idea, Just a Little Short

"The mat is heavy duty and should stand up to Colorado winters. The idea is good; however, the ramp end pieces should fit together snugly, and they do not. To make the mat fit the way it seems it should fit, it needs to be a few inches narrower, but then the top end pieces are a little too long, as they result in a bend. So either the top and bottom end pieces are not the same sizes, or the width of the mat is not uniform. On the plus side, assembly was easy, as I was able to accomplish it in about 45 minutes."

"I live in the mountains of Utah and the garage floor mat takes a pounding. The last one was the less expensive model and it lasted two winters before it started tearing. Consequently, I decided to try the thicker and more expensive model. We will see. At this time, it looks as if the plastic sides will also be up to the pounding."

"At ages 83 & 78 installation was not a breeze but it was accomplished. Instructions could have been better. Quality of the mat is far superior to one used previously. Only time will tell how it holds up."

"I've had a Park Smart mat for almost five years and was very pleased with it. It finally wore out and I decided to upgrade to the Special Edition mat. I really like the quality and I had very little difficulty getting it together myself. The edges snapped on with no difficulty, but I did need to consult with a neighbor who figured out how to get the clips on the edge by the garage door. He also had enough "manpower" to get the two pieces to clip on over the mat. So far, I'm very pleased with my purchase and would definitely recommend it to others. Carol"

"We received our garage floor mat about a month ago but just put it down in the garage. We have had steady snowfall and had to wait for a dry spell so we could dry out the garage floor. Well we put it down a last week and found we were short one section of the gutter on the upper left corner. All it took was one telephone call to be told that the missing part would be shipped out that day. Next I must say that this is the second garage floor mat we have purchased. It lasted 2 years before the gutters started to crack and the mat tear. We loved the idea of the garage floor mat so we were thrilled when after surfing the net we found yours. Thank you."

"Just ordered the Special Edition Floor Mat. Was a little harder than I thought to put down, but not horrible. It is well worth the money to have the water, snow, slush and dirt all stay within a self contained area. Very happy with the product and quality! Most importantly, the wife is happy, because it is under her car! Excellent product and highly recommend the higher grade special edition mat!"

"Our recent move to a state that actually experiences winter left me frustrated with water running all over my garage floors. The car park mat holds tons of that horrible wet salted slush that was ruining my floor. Now I just squeegee the water out the door and the kids have stopped tracking it into my house!! I love it so much I am buying a second one for my husbands garage!"

"The directions were easy to follow. I bought the heavy duty version. I'm 6'1", 200 lbs. and had a somewhat hard time mating the edge/end parts to the vinyl. It was well worth the effort. The snow/sand/mudd stays contained and is easy to clean up with a shop vac.or squeegee. I highly recommend this product."

"I have just completed installation of my clean park garage floor mat. Installation was straightforward and maybe took about an hour. The mat itself seems to be of good thickness to stand up to winter wear and tear. The plastic edging pieces were rather disappointing to me. Although easy to assemble the fit of the end pieces was not particularly good and the treatment of the corners left a lot to be desired. In this day where most any shape can be molded, to have corners that are essentially unfinished at the price for this mat was very disappointing. It just does not have a professionally designed look or finish."

"The install was some what simple...I had a difficult time with the egde pieces connecting with the mat. The directions said just to step on it; well I used a 2x4 and used my body weight it snap them in place. If you don't weight alot that's the way to go. Mat is working the way it should."

"This is a great addition to our garage. It holds an amazing amount of dirt and water. I would like to it redesigned to accep a floor drain without voiding the warenty. Also it would be nice if it were 8ft wide instead of 7-6."

"Product has performed perfectly so far in two early-season Maine snow storms, 6" and 18". Please consider advising customers that installation of side rails should be done in temperatures of 40-50 degrees or more. Was nearly impossible to do in 35 degree temps so moved to basement and had easy time of it. Jeb"

"Works great! After putting it together. Huge problem putting on edge pieces - instructions tell you to step on to snap in place... it's more like jumping on to snap. And I couldn't at all - I weigh 105#; my husband weighing much more still had to jump on to snap in place. It was hard work for him."

"I've owned 2 of the regular mats & now 2 of the heavy upgrades. Both use the snap in border system but I like the upgrade better as it's heavier , stays in place & the black doesn't show the dirty tracks as bad from tires."

"It captures everything that falls off your vehicle when you pull your vehicle in the garage. It is easy to sweep or shop-vac off and keeps water, dirt, and vehicle fluids from spreading/leaking all over the garage. I am glad I bought it, would recommend it, and would buy it again. Installation is a snap (literally), and only took about 10 minutes. Working in the construction business things tend to occassionally spill in the back of a truck. Oil, gas, paint, water, mud, etc etc. This mat catches it all and is simple to clean. Even if I want to hose it down I can just slide it outside, hose it off and slide it back in the garage. Nothing soaks into my garage floor and nothing stains my garage floor anymore."
