"These install quickly and easily and do exactly what they say. They are very wide and offer a good bit of protection. Some have complained they wish they were softer. While they aren't made of foam, they in no way will damage a door that is opened into it. I don't make a habit of SLAMMING my doors into the walls as hard as I can...so I can not say what would happen if you tried. Overall its a great product."
