"I was reluctant at first about this blanket for I had bad experience with similar product some years back. I went out on a limb and order one with the phone in special from AutoAnything. It took about a week for the blanket to arrive and my skepticism was about to get its chance. Well, the kids loved it, espcially on the cold morning riding to school. The blanket by itself was constructed with thick padding to begin with, thus, it actually felt like a real blanket rather than those flimsy thin film of "you know what" material. The size was a bit small though to cover all the backseat riders, so if you want to keep the peace in the car, spend the money and order one for each person that you plan to carry. As others had said in their reviews, the blanket heated up very fast and very soothing rather than a scorching surprise as typical electric blanket does. The kids had never complained of the heat produced or the time it took to heat up. To make the story short, I ended up buying one more, just in case I have any extra passenger."

"I ordered the electric car blanket because my 5 year old cried every morning about being cold. (even when the car had been started for awhile) Now, when I start the car, I plug in the blanket. When he gets in and pulls in over him, he is so warm! No more complaining. Happy boy...happy mom! I love it!"

"My wife loves this blanket. When we drive her feet get real cold even with the heat on. At first I thought it doesn't get warm enough, but I think its for good reason, don't want to burn yourself. It heats up to a good temp. The blanket itself is good material, and is warm by itself."
