gauge lighting

Reviewed By Anthony R (Taylor, MI) Reviewed for a 1966 Chevy Impala —5/7/2010 8:13 AM

The gauges are great, but, I believe you can do better on the lights on each gauge. The light, lights the outer rim of the gauges and the center seem to be a little dim. I like a well lit up gauge. I also purchased two gauges for my diesel from glow shift for the boost and temperture. They are LED'S and have a very nice smooth even bright light from center to outer rim. Your gauges are great but like I said they do need some lighting improvement. Regards Anthony

AutoMeter Ultra-Lite 5" Gauge Review

This is a great product. It came well packaged and extreemly fast from Autoanything. The speedo fit perfect, has smooth operation and works great. One thing to keep in mind is that the speedo is set up for a 1:1 drive gear ratio, so you'll probably have to change the speedo drive gear in the transmission.

Not pretty, but very functional

Reviewed By Dale C (Smithville, TN) Reviewed for a 1987 Chevy S10 Pickup —2/11/2016 9:29 PM

I bought this item to mount a couple of gauges outside on the cowl grille on my S10. I needed something that was adaptable since I wasn't sure how I would end up mounting it.Other reviewers have said this is plastic. It's not. The base is a solid piece of steel and the screws attach the clamp securely to the base, holding it in the desired position without much chance of slipping. It has a fairly wide range of swivel around the screw, so as to obtain the desired angle of viewing.
