Guards are attractive on my truck and are fairly easy to install. One suggestion would be to replace the lower bracket screws with hex head bolts. Now if they'll keep round bales of hay from breaking my tail light lenses they will be great.

The guards look awesome and wernt too hard to install but the directions werent to much help. The only problem is that they are fairly useless becuase they dont go out futher than the bumper on the 2002 explorer. of course they woud prtect the ligts, justnot too much of the body. overall, i am glad theyre on my explorer.

couldn't have taken more than 5 minutes to install each one. They look very nice. Certainly worth the $50. My only concern is that I expected them to have more of a "solid" feel to them once installed. They tend to vibrate a little bit when brushed against since they connect only to the inside side-wall of the tailgate.

It was simple to install and looks good. After installing it I had to bend it a little bit with my hand to make it look just right. I really like it.
