Description

With the Rancher Grille Guard corralled to the front of your rig, you'll stop worrying about the stampede of careless drivers bumping into you. That's because Go Industries built their strapping Rancher Grille Guard to deliver mammoth protection for your truck or SUV's face.

Go Industries wrangled up choice 1.9", 14 gauge steel tubing for the frame of the Rancher Grille Guard. Tying everything together, the vertical uprights are wrought from 1/4", laser-cut steel, and a 16 gauge punched-steel center grille guard provides the final protective touch.

For a breezy installation, your Rancher Grille Guard uses an innovative no-drill mounting bracket that bolts directly into factory-drilled holes in the frame. Plus, this unique grille guard has a built-in step plate, giving you easy access to your hood and engine compartment.

The electrostatic-applied Black or Hammerhead powder coat finish adds a tough skin against corrosion, dings and grazes. And, it's backed by a 3-year warranty.

Grill guard arrived well packaged. Will be shipped through trucking company and you have to make an appointment to recieve it. Intstructions are not very good, they need to be more specific which bolts to use where and have an exploded diagram showing placement of parts. Once I figured out which bolts to use where and found the nut/brackets for installing the main brackets to the frame installation was a breeze.

Recieved the Rancher Grille Guard within 4 days of ordering. Packaging was exceptional given the unit came as one piece. Actually the greatest amount of time spent involved removing the guard from its packaging. Installation was easy, less than 2 hrs and instructions more that adequate. Had a number of inquiries about the guard since installing it. Definitely more impressive than a number of other grille guards I had researched.

Grill was packed well and shipped directly from manufacturer on a pallet. It arrived completely undamaged. Grill is nice looking with a glossy black finish. The mesh behing the center area will protect the the front grill and radiator area from rocks and the tubes feel substantial enough to fend off a deer at low speeds should I be unlucky enough to have one jump in front of me. Love the shelf at the bottom which makes engine access easy for oil changes and fluid checks. The bad part: The install instructions are not very clear and we had to trial fit the pieces/brackets in several spots to finally figure out where everything goes. Install took about 3 hours-with better instructions we might have done it in 1.5

Hit a deer a month ago, 5k damage, decided I wanted to drive away if it happened again. Got the Hammerhead finish, wished they had stainless, but still looks awesome. Big, intimidating, and sharp looking. Gave it a 4 or installation only because it's not perfectly flush on the top/bumper mount, compiled with the fact that the collision shop did a cosmetically good job on repairs, but when the knuckles hit the metal, half a@@ed job underneath. Had to make some minor adjustments. I would definately recomend this product!!!

Overall it is nice looking. The mounting brackets are flat black powdercoated paint. I wish the grill guard was also powdercoated it would be much more durable. The instructions are terrible and very hard to see and understand. It would be advised that closeup photos are taken of each step so installer can clearly see where parts are affixed to frame.

Item came fast and it was easy to set up a time with the shipping company to receive the guard. Guard installed in less than an hour without any cutting or issues. Almost put it to use a few days later with a deer. Looks great!

It took two rookies One and Half hours to install the guard. Directions were not too clear but after a couple of tries we got er done. Many compliments on how great it looks and how massive it is. It is a great addition to the Silverado. Patrick

The price for the rancher with the Hammerhead finish is a bit on the pricy side, but appears to be worth it after evaluating the number of positive comments I have received from perfect strangers.
