With the Rancher Grille Guard corralled to the front of your rig, you'll stop worrying about the stampede of careless drivers bumping into you. That's because Go Industries built their strapping Rancher Grille Guard to deliver mammoth protection for your truck or SUV's face.
Go Industries wrangled up choice 1.9", 14 gauge steel tubing for the frame of the Rancher Grille Guard. Tying everything together, the vertical uprights are wrought from 1/4", laser-cut steel, and a 16 gauge punched-steel center grille guard provides the final protective touch.
For a breezy installation, your Rancher Grille Guard uses an innovative no-drill mounting bracket that bolts directly into factory-drilled holes in the frame. Plus, this unique grille guard has a built-in step plate, giving you easy access to your hood and engine compartment.
The electrostatic-applied Black or Hammerhead powder coat finish adds a tough skin against corrosion, dings and grazes. And, it's backed by a 3-year workmanship warranty and a 1-year finish warranty.

I've had these on trucks before but this is the first time I have looked for them online or installed them myself. My memory was correct, these are the best around. Installation is not difficult (if you pay attention) and 2 of us did it in an hour. My old truck looks wonderful and the front end is well protected.

The Rancher grill guard is what I expected it to be. Well constructed and looks great on my truck. I got compliments from the people where the Rhino bed liner was installed.

This grill guard is great. I have seen many types of grill guards on pickups and SUV's but this one beats them all. The quality of the workmanship and materials is unsurpassed. I would recommend this to anyone looking to enhance the appearance of their vehicle while giving the front end the protection is deserves.

Very happy with the Go Industries Racher Grille Guard.. Very fast shipping and not a dent on the grille when delivered.. The only thing missing was the installation instructions, but after a phone call it was they e-mailed them to me...

I had the guard shipped to and installed by a truck accessory company. Installation took less than 2 hours. It looks great and really adds to the appearance of my 2013 Silverado. Several people have commented how great the truck looks.

I bought this Grill Guard for my truck to protect my rig when I'm off roading. The small bars across the head light area are a nice touch and I'm pleased I can still use my factory tow hooks.. It was kind of hard to install, but me and my wife accomplished it in about an hour. It look really awesome on my truck and I'm really satisfied with my purchase.

EXACTLY how much does the grille stick out from the bumper when attached? I have only 3" of space in my garage in front of the bumper to the garage door.

Hi, The grill guard is pretty burly and sticks out more than 3" for sure. Solution: low-profile offroad rear bumper, just a hint.

When installing the rancher, does the dodge ram 1500 have to be trimmed in any way? The black plastic below the bumper?

I haven't heard of any notching of the lower valance to be required for fitment. Every truck seems to be a little different on the valance position due to slight variances in assembly, but I wouldnt expect any major cutting or clearancing to be needed.

Will it fit a 1997 dodge B 3500 Ram van? Thanks
Answered by Elizabeth C. — Jul 24, 2012 4:48 PM
Hello. In regards to your 1997 Dodge Ram Van 3500, the Go Industries Rancher Grille Guard DOES NOT fit your application. According to Go Industries, the front frame area is different between the two vehicles. Go Industries states that the Ram Van, has a different frame mount than that of the Ram Truck.

Does this grill guard allow for any light mounting points? If not, can they be cut-in easy enough?
Answered by JT A. — Mar 01, 2012 9:15 AM 2011 Ford F-150
Well, I discovered this answer myself...no, the Rancher Grill Guard does not include any pre-drilled holes that would allow for lights to be mounted to the grill guard. However, I got around this by notching two cut-out holes through the middle screen which allowed for me to use the PIAA mount brackets that are available from PIAA. Looks and works great...Oh, by the way, you CANNOT remount your factory tow hooks to this grill guard!
