Install was easy. Took about an hour by myself. Like the other reviews state, this grill guard sits really close to the truck, which I like. It looks fluid and follows the contours of the chevy front end really well. The only thing is that you have to remove your tow hooks to install (at least on my 2006 2500HD). Wish I would've known that beforehand, but this is a nice solid piece of equipment at a great price.

Since I put the brush guard on, it has been one compliment after another. The installation was a little more than expected and the price was a little high for my taste but the quality makes it all worth the while. I have already recommended it to many of my friends and family.

The brush guard for my 2500 was no different from a 1500 brush guard, except the price! i payed around 400 for the 1500 brush guard a wile back and over 700 for my 2500 brush guard. I also needed different brackets because i have a 3in body lift on my truck. welding work had to be done for new brackets. I wish AutoAnything would sell different brackets specifically for this problem.

This is a great product, and the best price around. Really dresses up the front end of the Sierra. The free shipping was worth it in itself, as the item has to be shipped via freight. Love it.

This grill is everything they advertised it to be. The actual installation was quick and easy, the biggest problem was removing the tow hooks in preparation(not Dee Zee's fault). The instructions and illustrations are poorly written and would be well served to be rewritten. This product was shipped by freight, and it arrived in a timely manner, as promised. All in all, we are very pleased with the finished product and the overall look it has given to our Jeep Renegade.

Hi, Which item number should i chose as I have a 2004 Chevy Silverado 2500 (non HD)? You have either a 1500 or a 2500HD or 3500. Which one do I require? Thanks
Answered by Nathan S. — Jan 21, 2013 9:40 AM
Hi, It looks like we don't offer a standard 2500 fitment at the moment. We do however off an Aries grill guard that will fit your truck: http://www.autoanything.com/grille-guards/73A4294A0A0.aspx

does the grill unit stick out more than 3 inches from the front bumper?
Answered by Nathan S. — Jan 15, 2013 9:06 AM
Hi, Yes, pretty much any grill guard regardless of brand is going to stick out at least 3" from the bumper to provide enough material to prevent damage to the grill.

The 2009 Cherokee has an opening at the bottom of the grill that allows mud to go through and deposit on the auxiliary fan causing it to vibrate. Do you carry a screen that would fit into this opening, or do you know a company that does. Thank you.
Answered by Elizabeth C. — Aug 13, 2012 5:33 PM
Hello. In regards to your 2009 Jeep Cherokee, we do not carry a grille or grille opening cover for that area of your Jeep. The only option I have that will somewhat cover that opening is putting a bull bar with a skid plate to cover that area.
Here are the Steelcraft Bull Bars
and the Aries Off Road Bull Bar with Skid Plate. Thank you for your question.

Would I be able to mount a winch on my 2006 Liberty Sport if I had this grill guard?
Answered by Michael K. — May 22, 2012 3:19 PM
Hey Edmund, no, this bumper does not have a winch mount. I searched around and cannot seem to find any grille guards for your Jeep Liberty that have a winch mount. You could install a front hitch receiver and use a Quick Release Hitch Mount.

Which would look better on a 2011 gmc Sierra that has a chrome grille? Hard for me to decide seeing as too much chrome can look tacky but black can also throw look of truck off to.

do I have to remove my tow hooks from the front for this to work.
Answered by Jordan C. — Nov 10, 2010 10:59 AM
Hey Gary, The answer is: it depends. Usually, you can leave the hooks in place and just turn them so they face in opposite directions. That provides the clearance you need to install the grille guard. But, if your Ram has a plastic shroud down there, then you'll have to take out the tow hooks because there won't be enough room.
