"Received the Maxx Grille Guard and it was exactly as pictured. Made quite a difference in the appearance of my 2005 Nissan Frontier. I've gotten quite a few compliments on it. Installation was a breeze however, the instructions were pretty faded and they didn't quite explain how the upper supports were installed. Figured it out though. Overall, I would definitely recommend purchasing this grill guard."

"The brackets were labled backwards and so I had to mount them twice, the bolt holes did not match very well, the last one I had to pry in. UPS dropped it a couple of places, it was dented and scrached, but I did not think it was worth sending back, since they would probably send it UPS again. UPS was very hard to pin down when they would deliver it, took an extra 3 days to get it and then they said 2pm and it arrived at almost 8pm! It does look nice and it will protect the front end and that is what I wanted. I am happy with it over all and think it is a good purchase, I only wish they had a better way to ship it."

"When my Grille Guard arrived so quickly, it looked like an overwhelming job in store for me.However, it applied very smoothly, with no major headaches and looks very good. I would not hesitate to recommend this one to anyone.It is a very well made and neat looking product."

"Everything that was previously said about the installation is true. I had my garage do the installation and forewarned them of the problems: bad instructions and poor fitting brackets...mine was as bad as the rest."

"The brush guard looks great on my 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It's definitely solid. A fantastic buy for the money. The directions, however, could use some attention. Aside from numerous spelling errors, they lack detail and depth. I would suggest picking up a repair manual from your local auto parts dealer before removing the bumper and grill assembly. It will give you very detailed directions as well as pictures. I paired the brush guard with a set of Hella 500 lights that work very well and look great."

"Grille was packaged and shipped very quick and well. Nice finish and fit, however instructions were short and not very detailed, the pictures were copies and VERY dark, hard to see or figure out. With better Instr. the grille would be much easier to install. Once we installed it, very nice fit and looks."

"It looks very good on the truck, and seems to be well-built, enough that it should protect the front end of my Ridgeline from unexpected impacts (debris caused $3800 damage recently).
It wasn't the easiest piece to mount...the directions need to be CLEARER, and the brackets should match up to the bolt holes better....a small improvement in engineering this piece would be much appreciated."

"Although the grill is nice looking once installed the directions for installation are worthless. There are several different types of bolts, brackets, and nuts and no pics to id them. The pictures provided in the directions are unreadable. Thank goodness there was a picture on the website with it installed on the FJ Cruiser so I could see where the brackets attached. The top bracket is made of two pieces, which it does not tell you. In addition after I spent hours installing it I found a bent on the top bar but after all the aggravation installing I said forget sending it back."

"The guard is an excellent price and well worth the money. The design of the connection points for connecting to the top plate of the vehicle need to be better thought out. This will make oil changes an added burden. Also the hardware supplied with the guard (bolts) should be harder, I rang one of the larger bolts off in the process of tightening it up and had to purchase a replacement for it. Outside of these two pints, I recommend the guard to anyone who owns a H2, 2007 model."
