"Everything that was previously said about the installation is true. I had my garage do the installation and forewarned them of the problems: bad instructions and poor fitting brackets...mine was as bad as the rest."

"The brush guard looks great on my 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It's definitely solid. A fantastic buy for the money. The directions, however, could use some attention. Aside from numerous spelling errors, they lack detail and depth. I would suggest picking up a repair manual from your local auto parts dealer before removing the bumper and grill assembly. It will give you very detailed directions as well as pictures. I paired the brush guard with a set of Hella 500 lights that work very well and look great."

"I put on my MAXX GRILLE GUARD on my 04 Jeep Grand Cherokee and the compliments haven't stopped!!! it looks great, very sturdy. BAD DIRECTIONS! ya might as well toss em cause they're no help! Besides that, GREAT PRODUCT"

"It looks very good on the truck, and seems to be well-built, enough that it should protect the front end of my Ridgeline from unexpected impacts (debris caused $3800 damage recently). It wasn't the easiest piece to mount...the directions need to be CLEARER, and the brackets should match up to the bolt holes better....a small improvement in engineering this piece would be much appreciated."

"Overall the product was well built, but the directions were wrong. Showed to mount grille guard on outside of brackets but had to be mounted on inside. Item is shakey on the vehicle, but overall, nice product."
