Description

Put a mean streak into the look of your trusty truck or SUV. The Westin Ultimate Bull Bar with Skid Plate boasts burly 3” or 2.5" tubing with 2 different models: chrome-plated stainless steel, or carbon steel with black powder coating.

Drive over curbs, trees and rocks without worry—the heavy-duty skid plate means your front end is covered against damage from a lack of ground clearance. The Westin Ultimate Bull Bar is designed for easy bolt-on installation that doesn’t require drilling, so it won’t cut into your off-road time. Equipped with extra tabs, the Ultimate Bull Bar is also ideal for mounting auxiliary driving lights (not included).

Your Westin Bull Bar with Skid Plate is laser-inscribed with a Westin logo, and boasts a 5-year warranty for black finish models. And, the chrome models are backed by a Lifetime Warranty.

I installed my bull bar a few weeks ago and it was easy as could be. Took me 25 minutes, mostly by myself, my brother held it up for me to re-install the bolts. The only thing I don't like is that I don't get to keep my tow hooks, and the clips that come with the lisence plate re-location kit are junk. They fell apart when I put the screws in, had to use small bolts, but no big deal. Other than that the look, instalation, and protection are great. Really makes my truck stand out.

Easy to install. Had to cut the tow hook slots bigger to get the brackets to sit in correctly. Looks awesome when finished!

I knew it was going to be easy. I didn't know it was that easy to put on. Me and my 2 boys (9 and 6) put it on in about 45 min. Only because they did ALL the work I just came behind and made sure the bolts were good and tight and held the bullbar up so they could put bolts in and tighten.

Extremely pleased at how much sharper it made my Nitro look. All hardware was in the shipping box, didn't have to go buy extra stuff. Installation was easy. One person can do it up to the point of installing the actual Bull Bar. You will need two people to tighten the hardware behind the skid plate (you can remove and reintall it if you want). Since I was looking at various bull bars, I did my research. On some instructions, they mention there is a plastic guard over the factory holes you will need to remove. My Nitro did not have any so it was fairly easy. If you get the directions and can't determine where the factory holes are. Google the following: Dodge Nitro Westin Bull Bar Installation, and you'll come to a forum that the person who posted the information took pictures of the factory holes. It made it easier for me. Once installed, the top portion of the bull bar does flex back and forth but I have no issues with it. I've read on other discussion threads that people were displeased with that.

At first I thought you sent the wrong one the year on the box has 2006-2007 But when I went back on line the Number for 2008 is the same. I hurt my back and did not as yet have the time to install it I open the box and I must say the appearance and quality are excellent. I review the instructions and they could be better. And I looked at autoAnything on line and it is for the tow hooks series, I have no tow hooks. Next time they should do with and without. Thank you Frank

The bull bar was a snap to put on and added just enough to my tundra to set it apart from the others out there. You can not find products cheaper than at autoanything I've tried!!!
