Traffic can be a knock down, drag out battle sometimes, and you don't want to hit the road without a good defense against oblivious drivers. Luckily, Go Industries created the Knockdown Grille Guard to give your truck or SUV's front-end serious protection that doesn't drain your purse.
Because Go Industries knows that a grille guard is only as good as its materials, they construct your Knockdown Grille Guard from heavy-duty steel. Then, they finish it with your choice of either shining chrome or rugged black powder coating.
Bobbing and weaving through parking lots won't be so harrowing with the Knockdown Grille Guard warding off scrapes, dings and grazes.
Assembling and installing your new Knockdown Grille Guard is a snap. An Allen wrench and an hour is about all it takes to get your new grille guard bolted onto your rig. And, it's backed by a 1-year warranty.
Our 30+ Go Industries Knockdown Grille Guard customer reviews have an average rating of 4.50 out of 5 stars. To see specific reviews about your vehicle, please select your year, make and model from the drop down above.

Installed it on my 95 Chevy pickup, assembly was strait forward and easy. The lower mounting tabs had been bent up a bit I don't know if it was manufactured like that or it happened in shipping. Instead of attempting to straighten them before installation and risk cracking the weld, I just used the mounting hardware to draw them up to the bumper. Overall it looks great and fit well on the truck. Not really happy with the chromed plastic bolt caps though, I don't see them holding up very long. I will eventually replace them with metal caps.

My 2012 Crew cab GMC canyon has the off road package. The only choice for submodel is "without the Z71 Off Road". Does this mean it won't work for this vehicle? Also if it does work for the vehicle how do you order the optional brush guards and how much are they?

It says drilling required. Does one need to drill holes into the bumper when mounting on a 1992 GMC?

Hey Elmer, For your 1992 GMC C/K, you will need to drill 4 holes in the bumper to mount the Knockdown Grille Guard. That's true for all C/K trucks from 1988 to 1998.
