This item looks amazing on the new Durango. Watch out for the shipping. Mine came slightly damaged and dinged up. Nothing was bent. It's a good thing I was planning to rhino line it.

WILL RECOMMEND TO FRIENDS. THE ONLY NEGATIVE, I HAVE A BLACK GRILLE GUARD AND IT CAME WITH CHROME NUT & BOLTS. I HAVE LOOKED BUT CANT FIND BLACK ANYWHERE,OVER THE COUNTER. WOULD LOVE TO HAVE BLACK INSTEAD OF THE CHROME. OTHERWISE EVERYTHING ELSE ABOUT IT IS GREAT, VERY PLEASED.

I am very pleased with this purchase. The grille guard looks amazing on my brand new truck. I added this grille along with a 2 1/2 inch leveling kit that I also purchased through Auto Anything. These two items complimented each other very well. I would recommend this product to everyone.

Like the grill guard but wish it mounted closer to truck. Sticks out more than I thought it would. Definitely makes the truck look more rugged though and adds front end protection. Mounted 2 KC lights on it.

I like the Aries Grill Guard for my 05 chevy silverado but I need to know if it is strong enough to take a little beating as I work on a ranch and tend to run into things with the front of my truck.

Hi, To be honest, it sounds like you need something as tough as your truck. Take a look at this bad boy: Go Industries Rancher Grille Guard

Hello, I have a 2011 Chevy Avalanche. I am interested in ordering both a Curt front mount hitch as well as an Aries Off Road Grill Guard. In the pictures it appears that the grill guard has a bar which spans the bottom. I am wondering if it is possible to install both of these accessories or if they are incompatible. The grill guard looks like it might block access to the receiver of the front mount hitch.

Hello. Typically, these products are not going to work together because they are usually mounted to the same location and I think that bar is going to be a problem too. A closer look at the installation instructions might help you determine if you could make it work. Installation instructions are available for both products on the website. Thank you for your question.

Looking at the picture, there are horizonatl bars protecting the headlights; but the grille itself seems exposed. Are there really no bars across it like the headlights?
Answered by Elizabeth C. — Jul 06, 2012 4:40 PM
Hello Douglas. Correct, there are no horizontal bars across the main grille. The protective piping surrounding the grille is raised to meet and absorb any impact that would otherwise harm the grille. Thank you for your question.

Yep, it's a DIY intall, you should be fine. I've read that some have trouble with the install instructions but you should be able to easily put it on your Tundra.
