First off, the guard looks great and it looks like it will take a pretty hard hit (hopefully never happens). The mounting instructions come with "pictures" that are so dark and blurred that they are completely useless. The written directions are decent and generic for a range of truck model years, so not everything is quite accurate. Unless you have a wide range of wrenches and sockets, you'll need out of the ordinary metric sizes.

Looks great on the truck and took between 1 to 2 hours to install, Also I did not have to remove the skid plate. It is well worth the price and easy to install. Overall it looks GREAT on the truck

Looks great, fit perfect, very high quality construction. Despite description and instructions from Aries, I did NOT have to remove or modify the factory skid plate that came with my 2010 Tacoma TRD Off-Road.

This grill Gaurd is well worth the money and looks great on 05 Tacoma. Excellent customer service above and beyond other places. Took 1 hr to install. Easy to install also.

Good-looking,well built, attached solidly to the frame at the bottom. Perhaps a hard hit could damage the radiator where the braces attach Fast shipping

This is a solid brush guard that looks good on my TRD OffRoad Tacoma. Installation was a little difficult (suggest long-handled wrenches for more leverage). Also, two people are needed to mount the guard. The only thing I did not like (which I knew before buying) was the bolts were chrome for a black brushguard. Will plan to paint the bolts at a later date to match.
