This product was very easy to install. Can be completed in 1 to 2 hours with one person. The bolts and predrilled holes line up perfectly. I recommend for the 2012 Toyota Tundra.

I installed the Aries grille guard myself and it looks great. The installation was not as straight forward as the instructions would lead you to believe. I had to re-drill the mounting holes in the factory tow hooks in order to install them with the grille guard mounting brackets. The factory holes in the bottom radiator core support had to be drilled out for the double bolt plate to fit. This required a 12" long 1/2" drill bit or removal of the front bumper. I chose to buy the drill bit. I still had it installed in about 5 hours.

I bought this after talking to Aries to see if it would fit my 2011 Tundra, since it was listed for a 2010. After being told it would fit, I ordered it and received it within a decent time frame considering it was shipped truck freight. The install was more like re-engineering than installation. The 2011 does not have the same holes in the lower radiator support as a 2010 model does, for the brackets supplied. Be prepared to at least elongate the holes for the brackets and just use the quick release pins in the front middle section. The plates that are supposed to be used for the middle section do not fit either. All in all, I made it work and it does swing open, look great etc. Just be prepared to do your own "riggin".
