Steelcraft Bull Bars Part #70290B Customer Reviews

Not as easy as it could have been to install. I'mm assuming its made to fit several vehicles so bolts aren't exactly what you need, but it works. Give yourself a couple hours to install.

Between Aries, westin, and this one I think the Steelcraft has the best appearance for the GMC. Got a smokin deal so even better. I didn't have to trim anything but I did have to remove the whole grille to bolt in the plates and then reinstalled the grille. definitely requires two people to install. the plates aren't sized to spec given these are universal to GMs so there's some play. I do think these are more for appearance than function, then again I did install these on a Denali!

The quality of the Steelcraft Bull Bar is excellent. My only request is for better installation instructions. It listed their bolt sizes (US) but failed to note their nut sizes (metric). Also, for my Yukon installation, I had to cut out some of the grill molding to get the unit to fit. In order to install this properly, I had to remove the from bumper to get access to the tow hooks. For the money I would definitely recommend this product. My only caveat is that it is not as easy an install as noted.
