I don't think it is practical enough to push much more than air but may help save on damage if hitting a deer in the road or something It's perfect for my purpose which is basically to give the truck a little character and to accentuate and hold up a vanity plate. It is well made and well finished in that regard. I was able to install it easily without assistance. The factory tow hook bolts are more than long enough to clear the tow hooks, bullbar brackets, and the threaded tow hook mounts on this truck. No regrets.

Looks great. took a chance that it would fit my 2016 Tundra. Very happy with Steelcraft from previous experience. Thinking I will be happy with this one too.

Installed very easy Looks very good on my Tunda. Put a set of PIAA lights on it as well. Warranty isn't that great so I hope it holds up.

my order arrived within days of ordering, everything looked good and installation was really easy. you can re-attach your tow hooks, but I don't think they are useable without damaging the bull bars though, since the hooks are now behind the bars.... I went ahead and put my tow hooks right back on anyway. The bars are solid and look great, I would buy them again and would recommend them to my family members. If you can assemble a shelf from any of the box stores, you can instal these!

My view of this item has been skewed by a very irritating little detail: at no point do the instructions direct you to put the license plate holder BEFORE installing the bar onto your truck. It is very difficult to get the stupid thing installed afterwards....trust me, I've already learned this lesson so you don't have to. Took me hours, literally, to get that sucker on there. Initial install was quick and easy. It has already come loose though and rotated down. This was surprising.

Instructions could be a little better but you can watch a youtube video to get an idea how to do it. Tow hooks I was able to mount with the brackets. If installing by yourself, bolt each side of the bar on the bracket using the back hole on the bracket, then swing it up to put the last two bolts in. Use the cardboard that the bull bar was packaged as ground protection for the bar so it does not get scratched, just make sure there are none of the staples in the box so it will not cut you.

These Steelcraft Bull Bars are well constructed and a great value for the buck. Packing good looks and simple instructions I wood strongly recommend these over the 'brand' names. You won't go wrong. I docked one star off 'ease of installation' because of confusing pictures.

The price was comparable to all the others. Received the bar quickly and had installed within one hour after opening the box. You can still use the tow hooks which is a plus. This bull bar gave my truck that I was looking for.
