On the instructions the mounting brackets were shown opposite of how they actually had to be installed, once I figured that out and got someone to hold the bar in place until I got the first two bolts installed, the installation was fine. As far as Quality there are a couple of flaws in the finish, luckily they are lower part of the bar not so noticeable.

extra set of hands helped to facilitate installation. item is definitely for looks though. purchased to mount my PIAA fog lamps on because no one makes just a light bar for the Sierra HD. definitely mount the lights before you put the bar on the truck. does look good though on the truck.

The appearance and functionality s great. I love the way it dresses up the front of my truck and provides a platform for mounting auxiliary lighting. What I didn't realize when I purchased this item was that you must remove your factory tow hooks which leaves you with ABSOLUTELY no recovery method from the front of the vehicle. While the installation is simple I can't imagine why manufactures of this item can't come up with a method where you retain the tow hooks.

Nice looking. Easy to install. Great value. If you intend to use the license plate holder, install it first, then tighten the bull bar in place. Installed on a 2007 Silverado HD 2500.

Direction could be better with diagrams. However the bull bar looks great on my truck. I got the tag relocation bracket for the front which I recommend. It was free in the order

When I first saw this bar on other vehicles I didn't like the look. But on a lifted truck it adds a lot of attitude and flair. I would recommend this bar to anyone for the price.
