One of the easiest after market mods to install. Took about an hour from start to finish. The longest part was loosening the bolts connecting the frame of the bumper.

Boy it looks great! Everything was close to perfect. Just a little rub on the toe hooks when bolted down. I can easily live with that. Good and rigid installation. Best value for sure! Jim

The bull bar is fantastic, awesome and easy to install. It took me only 15 minutes to figure out the install with the help of the install guide. Guys forget about Westin bull bar, this bar is simply awesome and the price is great. Thank you Autoanything for your great customer service, the shipping process was quick.

Appearance is very good. Tube wall thickness is much much thinner than anticipated.Seems thinner than even an exhaust pipe. Mounts real easy but is very flimsy IMO. only two attachment bolts on the bottom to the bar.

These were very nice made Bars. I did put a 1/4" shim between the mounting plate and the Bar to move it away from the bumper and also put tack weld from the mounting plate to the tie down loop. This gave the Bars a good brace and also made them more secure, harder to remove(steal)

I wanted to make my white '06 4-Runner Sport Edition a little more unique so I decided to add a bull bar. I spent several hours searching on the Internet and reviewed various bar designs and price ranges. I finally decided the Steelcraft unit offered the best value for an all stainless steel unit. Also, there was a Father's Day special going on at AutoAnything which included free delivery. My bull bar arrived in three days (excellent). It was extremely well packed, wrapped in polyethylene foam film then a layer of shrink wrap film and all in a well made box. The bar arrived in perfect condition and with all the listed hardware. It took me about 1.5 hours to install the bar but I did a few refits and really took my time. The fit was good but not perfect. The key when installing one of these is, don't tighten anything until all the bolts and nuts have been put in place. This includes attaching the brackets to the vehicle. Once I did this and tightened everything up the bull bar looks good. I noticed that it leaned forward at the top a little more than I would have liked and it touched the bumper. I loosened everything up and added two large 3 mm thick washers to each side at the two low anchor points. This forced the unit out at the bottom and in at the top, pivoting it on the two high anchor points. This looked better. I only have a couple of very minor complaints. The bull bar still touches the bumper even after my adjustment. I put a small felt pad in between to protect the painted bumper. The flat piece or guard could be little lower gauge stainless. It seems just a bit flimsy, especially with it being bolted on and not welded. Being bolted on may pay dividends later on, however. All in all, I am pleased with the quality and appearance of by Steelcraft bull bar. And, it was one of the lowest priced ones I found. I feel that I definitely got my money's worth.

Took a real effort to get the bull bar to line up with the holes in the frame and the brackets provided. I believe one of the brackets provided was slightly bent. Worked on it for some time and with the help of another mechanic was able to mount straight. Completed installation looks great.
