First they sent one for a Chevrolet and I had to wait a few days until they manufactured the correct brackets for my GMC. This is similar to the old Warn Transformer winch grill guard I have had on other pickup trucks. Once I received the proper brackets, everything fit and functioned like I expected, except that the top of the brush guards seem to block the top of the headlight beams. These are not as strong as a "Ranch Hand" type grill guard, but I did not want that extra weight.

In 2009 I purchased my first Go Systems winch grill guard for a 2008 Suburban 1500 LT. It performed excently. I traded it in on a 2011 Silverado 2500 HD Crew Cab 4 x 4 pickup and now am enjoying my second Go Systems winch grill guard. The cost is cheap compared to the possible collision damaged of hitting deer or worse, elk. I have hit two deer and one calf elk with my vehicles and no damage to the vehicle or guard.
