"Hooked straight up to my truck (2011 f150). The hardest part was removing the tow hook bolts, after that it was pretty easy. I am VERY pleased with the overall quality of the bar, and was very happy with the fast shipping from Autoanything.com You can take off the skid plate if you want with an alen wrench. I got the stainless steel but panted it black with plasti dip from home depot. I wouldn't suggest buying the black bar if you live up north because it will probably rust. Hopes this informs you on buying a great product.
P.S. I am going to buy one for my wife's xterra now." —Joash C from Milford, MI bought a Steelcraft Bull Bars for a 2011 Ford F-150.
