Aries Off Road Bull Bar with Skid Plate Customer Reviews
332 Customer Reviews
Whether you're charging through a busy parking lot or blazing a trail across Death Valley, the Aries Bull Bar puts a solid barrier between your rig and the big, bad world. Riding dead-center in front of your forward bumper, it delivers the protection you demand without concealing your truck or SUV's front-end style.
Because life on the road is unpredictable, the Aries Bull Bar is built tough from heavy-gauge 3" stainless steel tubing. The included skid plate guards your undercarriage from parking blocks, scrub brush and even boulders. Polished to a mirror shine or with black powder coat (skid plate is not powder coated), this barricade looks great and is virtually impervious to rust.
Mounting your Aries Bull Bar won't eat up an entire afternoon. It's custom-designed to bolt directly to your truck or SUV's frame without any drilling. Some wrenches and a frosty beverage are all you need for this hassle-free, secure installation. Your Aries Bull Bar comes with tabs for mounting auxiliary lights.

Awesome product, installation was a little more tricky than what was indicated, but went together fairly quickly, took about 2 hours to install due to having to cut deflector mounted under bumper, I live in Texas and ordered the license plate relocate kit. After install it was not needed, it sits low enough on my dodge to not have to relocate the plate. Looks great and would recommend it to anyone and autoanything shipped it extremely fast with no issues...will definitely be back.

I did not care for the mismatch in color of the skidplate and the chrome of the bumper and grill, so I removed the skidplate, leaving the black bull bar in place. My truck is black, has the rare 5.3L V8, is a 4X4.

This is the first bullbar that I have ever installed on a truck. I was honestly a little intimidated about the prospect of doing it by myself. The instructions were thorough but the pictures were not high quality. I called Autoanything for customer support & the guy that I spoke with recommended that I look up a youtube video on the installation and when I did so I found one that was very helpful. Installation too me 1.5 hrs. Knowing what to do now, I could do a 2nd one in 45 minutes.

Unit looks polished correctly, but skid plate had some scuff marks. The mounting bracket connection point to the main bar/tubing assembly could be better. For the looks.....does the job...It's Beef..

Well in the add it showed a pic of a truck like mine wt it installed under the bumper an tow hooks in place, what I got I had to remove tow hooks an install the bull bar in there place, for starters they gave me 2 of the same side brackets so had to figure out how to mount it wt what I had,it took 3 hrs which got my blood boiling, had it not been for my son an his friend trying to help I would of shot it wt my pistol,an the brackets r loose now an I can't tighten them no room unless I cut my bumper

Was the bull bar the wrong one for my 2006 Chevy Silverado 2500HD? Or were the brackets the wrong ones for that bull bar to fit my truck? If I bought local the parts would have been right. Not from different states.

Fast Shipping. Great Product. Easy Installation with two people (One to hold bar, one to tighten bolts.) (Hardest part was removing Factory Frame Bolts(15 year old). Recommend to soak bolts with PB Blaster ahead of time - I ordered new bolts from dealer and installed them with bull bar). Passing down this truck to my son and he wanted to "beef" it up - mission accomplished!!!!
