Description

A tonneau cover may shield your gear from the snooping eyes of thieves, but it does not stop them from opening your tailgate and pirating your valuables. Thankfully, crime-hating inventors developed the ingenious, easy-to-use Pop & Lock Tailgate Lock. It locks into place behind your tailgate handle, blocking anyone without the key from getting inside.

Pop & Lock Tailgate Locks are constructed from heavy-duty armored steel. It would take a plasma cutter to slice through this meaty security device. Though tough as nails, the Pop & Lock does not skimp on style. It’s custom-contoured to match the shape of your tailgate handle, and finished with an ABS black finish.

You won’t have to dust off your Makita for the installation—your Pop & Lock mounts in minutes without any drilling. Plus, the Pop & Lock Tailgate Locks are raised for easy use and minimized pinch risk. Backed by a 1-year warranty.

Our 490+ Pop & Lock Tailgate Lock customer reviews have an average rating of 4.50 out of 5 stars. To see specific reviews about your vehicle, please select your year, make and model from the drop down above.

Instaltion was a breeze. Put it in in about 1 hour. I had to move the camera to the other side and rerout the wires. Most of the time was spent doing the moving of the camera and wires. Works smooth and looks good.I would recommend the Pop&Lock to my friends.

Poor finish, poor molding process. Lock is smooth operating once greased well. Spend $20 on filler and paint and spent 2 hrs smoothing the dimples out. Looks fairly good now. Only lockable latch I am aware of with slot for backup camera.

Hi, It will work perfectly. The part number is PL5300 and looks like a pretty clean installation.

Hi, Remove it and check where the latching mechanism is contacting. It sounds like you only have partial engagement of the lock.

Can't unlock my tailgate

Have had it on my truck for the past year and a half, worked fine but now the key spins and I cannot open it, I have an extant hard cover and cannot get into the box, any suggestions? I need to get stuff out of the box

Unfortunately you might have to drill out the lock cylinder and pull it out that way. Might try and actual locking handle from the stealership. Thats what im about to do.

Hey Horatiu, these are designed to replace your factory tailgate handle, so the dimensions are exactly the same as the factory unit, which varies by vehicle.
