"The EZ Down was very easy to install and I like the fact that I do not have to hold the tail gate on my new Silverado. The best part has been the interest of all who see me use it. At the lumber yard, the landfill, the recyle store and so on, people stop and ask me where I got it. Many ask to try it out. I mention your website so I am hoping for a huge commission. "Installation instructions came on a very, very, poor copy. Had to go online to print out a readable copy. The tailgate mounting tee does not fit through the slot on the Dodge Ram tailgate. Not on my truck anyway. Had to remove tailgate panel and fish it through. Once installed, works good. Dee Zee should also mention to bend the cable towards center of tailgate so that it doesn't stick out when tailgate is closed. Also, what is the cable tie for? Doesn't show what to use it for in instructions or video."

"It takes less than five minutes to install. This product works great and isn't noticable when the tailgate is down. It makes opening your tailgate a one handed operation. I would recommend this product to anyone."

"Installed this on my 2007 Sierra. The directions were clear and it really did take only about 10 minutes to install. Now the tailgate doesn't slam down and I feel safer when my kids open it."

"the deezee down was a liitle hard to install in the reargate.the hole was small so i needed to file the opening. when you go to close it you must make sure the cable is tucked in or you will catch it in the gate.otherwise a great product,since my wife is the primary driver."

"Installed after my daughter opened the tailgate and almost lost her front teeth. Works great. Had to open up the hole on the tailgate a bit. Other than than, installation was no problem."
