"I suspect the maximum weight limit is rated low for legal reasons, I will be using them to load a motorcycle into my truck, about 600lbs. Reinforced ramps to 2x12 and fender washers on the bolts. Weak link is probably the tensile strength of the bolts."

"Makes unloading everything easier. Just "roll out the barrel of beer" and stand it up on a two wheel truck. Then use the ramps to wheel the barrel into the home barroom.
Should be great in winter when it's time to load/unload the snowblower!!"

"I attached mine to 2x12's in a few minutes and was able to load my lawn tractor in the pickup. They were much cheaper and wider than a set of metal ramps."

"Great product, much less expensive option than buying a foldable ramp for a few hundred dollars. I attached the kit to a few 2x10's in less than ten minutes.
Since I intended of keeping the ramp in the truck at all times, I had to make the ramp 6'long instead of the recommended length of almost 10' (based on the height of the tailgate). Which in turn made the ramp a little steeper than I would have liked."

"I bought the Lund Ramp kit to load a lawnmower and several other items
on my Ford Ranger. It is just what I needed and very easy to use. The
lawnmower keeps breaking under warranty it is too heavy for a 63 year old
guy to lift in and out of the truck bed."

"Well worth the value. Loading and unloading my King Quad has never felt safer. The only issue I see is the safety pins could have been a little longer for use with a bed liner. the holes I drilled barely make it through the tailgate liner..Compaired to the money I was going to spend on ramps... I bought 2 -2x10's and some slip resistance tape for the ramps making this a very cost effective, safe and easy way of loading and unloading...Would buy again!!
Wood ramp advise--With heavy loads like a King quad, the wood ramps bow quit a bit, little scary so I nailed 2x4's vertically on the sides of th 2x10s for extra support,,barely bows now with weights up to 800lb..aswome!
