The kit works fine for my purposes - rolling a push mower onto the back of my truck. However, I think the kit would work best with a smaller / shorter pickup truck. I have a 2005 F-150 that is fairly tall. Per the instructions in the kit, the boards used need to be fairly long (about 10 feet!) and would need additional support to be used for anything really heavy. If I were loading a 4 wheeler or similar, I would spend the extra money for some snappy aluminum ramps.

i bought this because i didn't want to spend 150 bucks on a ramp for my quad. i bought these and some wider pieces of wood and some grip tape and, in my opinion, i have a better, less steep ramp that has more traction and less incline than any 150 dollar ramp. for 50 bucks total. quick shipping also. easy to make. everyone should consider this before buying an expensive "quality" truck ramp

After you've priced truck ramps, this ramp kit is a breath of fresh air. I used it to unload a 200lb portable generator from out of my Nissan Titan pickup bed. No problems. Did it by myself. Made it easy. Highly recommeneded? YES

Good product found it on line for a little less ($19) and still made in USA. This product is made in USA. The China steel is very bad and dangerous to work with. Buy American
